Palm Beach County is a great place to live but as more people move here, the more we struggle to address issues like limited housing options and higher housing costs.

Over the last few years, the cost of housing has increased dramatically. As of August 2022, the median sale price of a home in Palm Beach County was $450,000, increasing nearly 33% year-over-year. At the same time, we are struggling to deliver the housing units needed to allow those who work in our community to live here.

That’s why I voted in support of the County’s proposed housing program to create more workforce and affordable housing for our community.

Here’s what the County’s proposed housing program does:

  • Allows the County to better collaborate with local businesses and organizations to address the housing shortage
  • Helps offset the high costs of home creation
  • Increases the number of available affordable housing units in our area

I am committed to continuing our partnerships with non-profits and our local business community to look for ways to increase housing options for Palm Beach County residents.
